SaaS was a completely new playing field for Conrad Connect. We helped grow their subscriber base and evolve the website, while hiring a team to internally manage new processes.

Conrad Connect was the first major foray by the German electronics company Conrad (Conrad.de) into consumer Software As A Service (SaaS). Conrad was already an extremely successful player in the home & hobby electronics space, but SaaS was a completely new playing field. Muhlert Digital helped grow the subscriber base and evolve the website, while hiring a team to manage processes internally once they were put in place.

How we worked together

We helped Conrad Connect build their marketing strategy from scratch—re-thinking their onboarding process to focus on widening the sales funnel, re-factoring their analytics and tag management, taking over all performance marketing efforts, and hiring their internal team. Our AB tests enabled us to quickly compare assumptions with the market to make smarter design and layout design decisions.

From these tests we built a new site and multiple landing pages that maximized conversions for this new strategy. Our paid advertising efforts focused on optimizing increased impression share on high performing keywords & audiences, while continually testing new ad messaging that focused on clear, relevant product benefits.

Remarketing & retargeting efforts were used to capture & convert users. We also spent significant effort negotiating advertising placement with the parent brand, which drove high converting traffic to Conrad Connect.
